Your version of Success
Success isn't like a one fits all pair of leggings (c’mon, do those really exist?!) . Success is tailored to everyone so differently it's unrealistic and unfair to ourselves to even think it's fair game for us to compare our lives to one another.
The thing is, it’s up to YOU to decide what success is.
Living to impress other people based on what they define as success is exhausting!
Answer these simple questions to help lead you closer to your version of success
1. What am I good at?
So often we get caught up in the day to day busyness that we ignore/forget our gifts and talents. They’re there for a reason, so why not use them? And if you don’t know what you’re good at, try new things! My sister, Janet, would have never discovered her passion for making treats if she hadn’t experimented making some chocolate covered strawberries. So discover what you’re good at and go after it!
2. What am I passionate about?
What gets you excited? Is it helping the homeless? Is it teaching numbers to under privileged kids? Is it providing job opportunities through your brick and motor business?
What ever you may be passionate about, pursue it! It will lead you towards fulfillment, which I believe is the best success we can attain.
3. Where do I want to see myself in the next 5 years?
Take some to think about your future. Where do you want to see yourself? What kind of career would be your best fit? Where do you see your family? Will you be traveling? Will you be debt free?
These questions are just the beginning of how you can live the life you were created to live.
